Some children can’t succeed in Hebrew school because of learning disabilities, autism, hearing loss or other challenges. JEEP teaches them one-on-one, with hands-on lessons that fit the way they learn.

Not every lesson aims at a date. Many children simply grow in their knowledge and love of Jewish learning and life.

A story from the film
Every day, except Shabbos
A mother asked Rabbi Karp to learn with her son once a week. Her son was born with hearing loss, and he needed to be ready for the Jewish day school.
After they had learned together once a week, Rabbi Karp called her. He wanted to learn with the boy every day, except for Shabbos.
She wondered how she could ever afford that. Rabbi Karp told her not to worry about it. He would take care of it. The boy needed to be ready for day school, and Rabbi Karp would do whatever it took to prepare him.
