Where we go
We go where Jewish life rarely reaches.
Care homes, hospital rooms, recovery meetings, group homes and family kitchens. JEEP brings Jewish learning, holidays and friendship to about 1,000 people a year in and around Cincinnati.
The Baal Shem Tov taught that the greatest treasures lie hidden in every Jew. Some of those treasures sit where few people think to look: the only Jewish resident of a nursing home, a patient on a psychiatric unit, a child who can’t keep up in Hebrew school.
JEEP was founded in 2005 on a simple belief: every Jewish person is precious and deserves access to a Jewish life. So we go to them, with a class, a holiday, a prayer or a friendly visit. And we keep coming back.
Where treasure hides.
These are places where Jewish life rarely reaches. JEEP goes there every week, and has for twenty years.

A parent in a care home, a friend in the hospital, a neighbor who can’t get to shul. Tell us. We will come.
